Should I put blinds on French doors?

Blinds can be great for French doors, but there are some things to consider. If your blind drops to the floor, then the cords behind will also come to the floor. These have quick release safety features, so if you have children or pets then curtains might be a better solution.  You may need multiple blinds at your French door for a practical and accessible solution. 

How do I mount blinds to French doors?

We recommend fitting blinds to the wall area above your French door so that when they are raised, there is as much space available as possible. If you have inwardly opening French doors then the blind will have to be raised very high, so get in touch with our team who will be able to help.
