Yes, during daylight hours. Sheer blinds obscure the view from outside while still allowing you to see out. However, at night—when interior lights are on—privacy may be reduced, so they can also be paired with curtains for maximum privacy.

Are sheer blinds suitable for all rooms?

Yes. They work beautifully in living rooms, dining areas, offices, and sunrooms—anywhere you want soft natural light. For bedrooms or areas requiring more privacy or darkness, they can be layered with curtains as well, as all of our curtains come blackout lined and interlined as standard.

Would these blinds help with UV protection?

Somewhat. While they don’t block all UV rays, sheer fabrics do help filter sunlight and reduce glare—protecting furniture, flooring, and artwork from fading over time.

Do your sheer blinds take longer to produce?

No, we have the same lead times for our sheer blinds as the rest of our range of blinds, so your blinds will be ready in approximately 6 weeks from the time of your order.
