Can I wash blackout curtains?

Most blackout curtains need to be dry cleaned to preserve the blackout lining and prevent shrinkage. Check the care label on your curtains, as some lighter-weight fabrics can be hand-washed. We recommend professional cleaning to keep your curtains looking their best.

How do I get wrinkles out of blackout curtains?

Steam your blackout curtains with a handheld steamer held a few inches away from the fabric, working from top to bottom. Or hang them and let the weight of the curtains release the creases over a few days. Never iron directly onto the blackout lining, as high heat can damage the light-blocking properties.
