Measuring & Fitting

Take the uncertainty out of choosing the perfect window wear with our easy to follow measuring and fitting guides. Grab your tapemeasure and get started.

The best place to start is to decide which product is right / which product you’re measuring for / whether you want curtains or blinds. Some things to bear in mind when choosing:

  • Check for obstructions around the window (e.g. furniture, beams, switches, pipes, mirrors) that may limit the amount of available space.
  • Have a think about how your windows or doors open. Does your window open inwards? Does your bifold door fold into the room?
  • The best way to keep a room light during the day is to ensure that the window is kept as clear as possible, so blinds will work best sitting above/outside the recess.
  • If you want to fit a pole for curtains, you need to have at least 15cm of flat wall space between the top of the window and the ceiling. If you have less than this then you may need a track that’s fixed to the ceiling.
  • Some of our designs are perfect if you’re tight on space as they stack up very small.

And remember, if you’re not sure where to start, just send us a picture and our friendly team will be able to help.
