A dramatic hybrid of it's roman and austrian cousins, our Big Smoke london blind is an ornate extraveganza.
Both pleated and gathered for maximum effect, when you need to make a statement, this is just the ticket.
Quick tip - getting the fabric to sit perfectly will require some fiddling (also known as dressing) every time you use it. For minimal fuss we recommend having an operational roller blind tucked behind.
- Made from scratch and to order in the UK
- Hand sewn using traditional techniques
- Featuring invisible velcro tops, hems and sides, and stab stitching (apart from Slubby Sheer)
- Entirely child safe and easy to use mechanisms with quick release toggles and chains for peace of mind
- Blackout lined, apart from Slubby Sheer (to maintain the very drapey and floppy effect, this blind is not interlined)
- Premium cotton linings all made here in Blighty
- No mass production or corner-cutting
After spending 30 years creating entirely bespoke window wear, we've discovered the secret to getting the perfect fit - and you don't need a degree in advanced mathematics!
Most windows and doors have space on the walls each side and above. Our sizes are available in 5cm to 10cm increments, meaning you can use this space to get a perfect match.
Armed with a retractable metal tapemeasure and a pencil, there'll be no stopping you. Check out our easy to follow measuring and fitting guides.
And remember, if you can't find the size you need or you're not sure where to start, just chat to our friendly curtain twitchers who will be happy to help.

1. Once we receive your order we'll get to work. Everything is handmade to order in just six weeks.
2. You'll be notified 48 hours before delivery. Curtains and blinds will be folded or 'dressed' into their pleats wherever possible, so they are ready to hang.
3. We're pretty sure you'll love your new window wear, but if for any reason you change your mind let us know within 14 days and you can exchange it or return it.
Simply give us a call or email hello@pleat.co.uk to request a return. A £20 collection fee will be charged and the original delivery cost won't be reimbursed.
For hardware make sure it's right before fitting as we can't accept returned hardware once it's been installed.
